SIOL Forms It's First Environment Club in Kalyan in association with KDMC

Solace India Online strongly believes that children who are our future leaders need to be made aware of the kind of the world they are going to inherit from the present generation and unless made aware of the environmental issues, they cannot take up the society to a strong and well established entity tomorrow.
Therefore Solace India Online (SIOL) decided to involve children and the youth to take up a serious responsibility of Nation building.
A small effort from our side was made by starting an Environment Club in Kalyan, one of its own kind in Mumbai.
We enrolled some 50 children in the club on its formation day, i.e., on ..(date)
at Punyoday Park Residential area. We expect soon, to be joined by other societies as well said Dr Rupinder Kaur
We intend to take up this very seriously. Soon we shall have the entire year’s calendar worked out, which will be dotted with activities and competitions like quizzes, debates, poster making , poetry recitation, environment discussions, creating out of waste, cleanliness drive, hiking, trekking, sports, showing environment related films etc in the intra-Society as well as inter-societal levels and celebrations. Some of the important issues like that of Saving Water, Energy, Environment, Water bodies, Green belt etc will remain our focus.
This afternoon in our session on #SaveEnvironment we taught children how to crush the bottles so that they don’t get reused. This session was attended by both children and parents and turned out to be an instant hit with them.
We are looking forward to having more fun as we move ahead with our club. We are also grateful to KDMC  Project  head harshada khirsagar ,Aarti Phatak for their unflinching support in this endeavour of ours.
